Batavia 1627

Batavia 1627 is a story-driven, Open XR-compatible experience orignally made for the Oculus Rift and programmed inside of Unreal Engine 4. Using an eagle as the main way to travel throughout the open-world, the player can experience different storylines in any order they choose by collecting orbs scattered throughout the map.
My main role for this game was the sole developer. I sourced the rig for the eagle from Sketchfab, rigged it using Maya and animated using Maya as well. After the rigging was complete, I created the base world for the eagle to fly in which was populated by the project lead's 3D modeler, Rob Tuytel, founder of the websites, TextureHaven and HDRIHaven.

Maya, Unreal Engine 4, Blender
